  • St. Pulcheria (Empress; married briefly in virginity towards end of her life)

  • St. Thekla (equal-to-the-Apostles; unmercenary healer)

Note: Single, non-monastic male saints also exist, including St. Alexander Schmorell (student), Sts Boris and Gleb (princes), St. Ahmed the Calligrapher (calligrapher; living in sin), St. Elijah (prophet), St. Luke (Evangelist; physician), and St. Peter the Aleut (hunter).
